Jeramy Norris started playing rock and blues at the age of 15 when his dad handed him an old Harmony Baritone Ukulele. With the radio playing BB King's 'Rock me Baby' in the background, Jeramy learned to play his first blues song. Since that day, the guitar has been a lifetime fascination and passion. Jeramy is an explosive performer commanding the audience with his diverse style, hard-driving attack, raw intensity and phat, funky sound. He achieves a unique individuality while drawing from the legacy of the bone-cutting blues of Albert King, Albert Collins, BB King, Jimi Hendrix, Hubert Sumlin, Ry Cooder, Eric Clapton, Magic Sam, ZZ-Top, James Brown and Dwayne Allman. That's a broad palette, but it also shows how Jeramy Norris builds on the best influences to express the soulful extremes of his songs. His expressive style is the result of a lifetime of study and the relentless pursuit of music mastery. His playing is so tightly in the pocket of the beat that his lead guitar doubles as a rhythm instrument. This accomplished singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has slowly but surely established himself as one of the most consistent and exciting talents not simply in blues music, but in our music world as a whole.
