Janine Teñoso is a young singer-songwriter who is on a course trajectory for Pinoy pop stardom. Janine made her Viva Records debut in 2016 with an original single entitled “Fall” which highlighted her writing alongside her solid singing skills. She has been shining brighter with a string of recordings earning much-deserved attention when she sang a cover of “214,” from the OST album of the movie “100 Tula Para Kay Stella.” It was her memorable take on “’Di Na Muli” (a Jazz Nicolas-Wally Acolola Philpop winning song) that put Janine front and center when it became the big theme song from the “Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story)” hit movie in the middle of 2018. “’Di Na Muli” has since become a hit both on FM and on the streaming platform. With 1.2 million weekly streams, Janine has earned the de facto monicker ‘movie theme song princess.’ Her current single “Hindi Tayo Pwede” is part of the official soundtrack for the Viva Films movie “INDAK."
