Hi everyone, My name is Jack Potter. I am a big fan of progressive rock. My music has been compared to Genesis and Pink Floyd without the lyrics. Give a listen, I hope you enjoy listening as much as I have enjoyed writing. Why this name? Currently I am going by my own name to keep things simple Do you play live? As of yet I have not played my music live, although, that is in the works How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry? I think it has leveled the playing field quite a lot. There are now many more artists who in the past never would have been heard, but now have the opportunity. Would you sign a record contract with a major label? That would all depend on the circumstances. I don't think I would like having my music and songs cut down to three and a half minutes unless I really thought it improved the song. With that said I would certainly be interested in talking to a major label, but to sign I would need to know I still had artistic control over the music. Band History: I have been writing music for 15 years, some day I hope to get the hang of it Your influences? Genesis, Pink Floyd, Renaissance, Iona, Kansas Favorite spot? Boston Equipment used: Mainly I am a drummer so I use Tama eq, and for Keyboards I use the Yamaha Motif
