JOYRADIO are part of a new breed of British Alternative Rock, which has been emerging from bedrooms and basements of disenfranchised youths in recent years. The powerful and heartfelt sound of JOYRADIO indulges many elements of music, including the raw power of 60’s rock in the vein of Iggy & The Stooges, The Who and Jimi Hendrix, the Punk of The Clash and Ramones, and the creativity and drive of post-punk acts such as Fugazi, Sonic Youth and Pixies. The voice of JOYRADIO is Benny J Goodson.. Also within the collective are Korean bohemian wizard of music Jiwoon Whang, punk rock waster Johnny Yeates, and King Louis of The Swingers. JOYRADIO are the flagship band of the creative arts company JoyRadioCollective.
