Biography J.R. August is a psychedelic-ragtime-blues singer/songwriter, music producer and multi-instrumentalist from Zabok, Croatia. Born on 1/30/1989 in a small village surrounded by a forest, J.R. spends most of his time playing piano and writing melodies and poems. CHANGE OF SEASONS QUADRILOGY In 2010 J.R. August starts working on his music video quadrilogy 'Change Of Seasons' - a story inspired with the lucid dreaming experiences J.R. had at that time as well as with E.A. Poe's dark poetry and Hermann Hesse's psychedelic novels he had been reading. Together with his friend Luka Smuk (director of photography), J.R. spends 18 months recording video material for 'Change Of Seasons' - a complex story narrated through 4 music videos, i.e. 4 seasons for which August had written the screenplay. 'Man With The Magnificent Mind' is the first part of the quadrilogy. RECOGNIZED BY COLDPLAY 14 days after 'Man With The Magnificent Mind' was put on YouTube, the music video gained more than 40 000 clicks. The potential of the song was recognized by Coldplay who put the music video in TOP 25 on their official website. In a matter of days, the video reached no. 1. In January 2013, August published his second part of the quadrilogy 'Distort Reality' and at the moment he is working on his following music videos.
