About Isolrubin BK

Isolrubin BK is a project formed by Brian Lustmord Williams, with engineering, sampling and programming by Andrew Lagowski. Released in 1993, "Crash Injury Trauma" is a shocking exploration of car crashes and deaths, using sound effects, crash victims, witness testimonies and news reports. An unrelenting assault of screeches, screams and piercing frequencies punctuate the sonic spaces on this release. Compiled live with no overdubs in May-July 1992, digital mastering at Scientific Electric in August 1992. Pre-dating Cronenberg's exploration of similar themes in his film "Crash", Isolrubin BK's concept has capitalised on the shock factor as well as the cerebral nature of the subject matter, instilling a reality-based fear to the udience.
