About Irina Karamarkovic Band

Irina Karamarković is a singer from Pristina, Kosovo. She studied jazz in Graz, Austria. She performed in "The Black Rider/The Casting Of the Magic Bullets" musical at the Grazer Schauspielhaus. From this musical the Sandy Lopicic Orkestar emerged, in which Irina was one of the three singers. After the disbanning of the orchestra Irina continues performing on jazz and folk festivals, and she teaches singing and vocal technique. In 2009 Irina released 'Songs from Kosovo', on which she sings Kosovan songs accompanied by her jazz band: Stefan Heckel - piano, Wolfram Derschmidt - bass, Viktor Palic - drums
