About Industrial Priest Overcoats
Trevor McEachran is the brain beneath the overcoat. He has been writing and recording music in his Vancouver, British Columbia bedroom since 2009. When performing, he wrangles up his rat pack of friends - Ben Beckett (guitar), Robert Tunold (bass) and David Madge (drums) to fill in the blanks. IPO have appeared alongside such acts as Koban, Mormon Crosses and Shearing Pinx. To mark the release of their first LP, Industrial Priest Overcoats went on a month-long tour with SNIT, ANN, and genderdog across the United States of America. On tour they played with acts such as Gas Rag, Ex Nuns, and Foreign Mothers. In recent, Industrial Priest Overcoats have played along the West Coast with Broken Water, Sashcloth and AXES, BAUS, and Terminal A. In 2013, IPO released a vinyl LP, Defiant Mortals and in 2014 a tape cassette, Godbless This Hellhole, the latter which sold out on their last West Coast tour with MOSFETT.
