In The Bleak Midwinter is the solo project of David Roberts who also plays with Silence At Sea, Pagan Wanderer Lu and Little My. He started writing songs in about 2002 and has only performed a handful of times. It's singer songwriter, one guy and a guitar kind of stuff and could be classed as Emo although he'd prefer to be classed with the likes of Bright Eyes or Stars. In The Bleak Midwinter has one demo CD called December Songs. David still writes music and may or may not ever release anything or play live on his own again, although he'd like to.
