About Hells Fire Sinners
The Hells Fire Sinners are a rock and roll band from Columbus, Ohio. The band was formed in 2006 as a country/hard rock hybrid. They spent the first few years of existence playing any show to any audience they could. In 2008 they released “Confessions of the Damned”. Ten songs about damnation and redemption. Reviews compared it to a cross between Hank Williams and Motorhead. With positive reviews the band played all across the mid-west and east coast to support the album. In 2010 they started work on their second album “Dead Man Hangin’”. The album continued the bands foray into merging country and hard rock. Fourteen songs were written and the band began recording. After working on the album for the majority of the year, it was left unfinished due to members leaving the band. A few of the songs were released as a digital EP in 2012. The next few years were rough for the band. Without a stable line-up the band floundered. In 2014 an acoustic album “Songs You Can Die To” was released. Also a new line-up was solidified and started playing shows. The beginning of 2015 saw the release of “One”. A five song EP that shed most of the country sound and moved into more of a rock and roll sound. At the end of 2015 the band released “2 : Graveyard Hearts” the companion/follow-up EP to “One”. It put the stake in the heart the country sound and the Hells Fire Sinners were reborn as a Rock and Roll band. Building up their fan base again by playing everywhere they could, the band was able to get back into the studio again to record their next full-length album. “Revelations” was recorded at Amish Electric Chair Studios in 2017. Ten hard rocking songs with ear catching riffs and sing-along choruses, coated with a thick layer of distortion and fuzz. The album got positive reviews and air-play on local radio. In 2019 the band once again entered Amish Electric Chair Studios and began work on their latest album “The Dead Sunshine”. As with every release the band has added some new influences to the mix. Hints of 70’s glam and 90’s rock give the album a new sound. Released in the summer of 2019 “The Dead Sunshine” has helped the band continue building it’s fan base and expanding their reach. The album was featured on the “Rocket Fuel” CD accompanying Classic Rock Magazine’s November 2019 issue. “The Dead Sunshine” was called a “massive dose of adrenaline-soaked hard rock”. The band is currently working on a few projects. A split EP with a few local Ohio bands. A song for a tribute album and working on songs for their next release.
