About Harmonious Thelonious
Harmonious Thelonious is the latest electronic venture of Stefan Schwander (a.k.a. Antonelli Electr.) that directs you into minimalistic structures (American minimal music) in order to fuse them with African rhythm patterns. To be exceptionally hypnotic, the harmony and rhythm archetypes are merged, compressed, and twisted. All heavy danceable, heavy arrogating. The project is also presented on stage, where Schwander is augmented with guest musicians that play Afro-Cuban live percussion, turntables, sequencers and effects. Starting releasing in 2008 with the EP "Just Drifting" on the London-based Label Dreck record, Harmonious Thelonious has released a dozen EPs and six albums so far. His debut album "Talking" was released in 2010. The 2015 album "Schleißen 1" is a split album with Abul Mogard. His most recent album is the 2018 album "Petrolia".
