Hank Shizzoe & Loose Gravel is Swiss musician Hank Shizzoe and his live band comprising Christoph Beck on drums, Michel Poffet on upright bass (and Schifer Schafer on guitar in 1998). The band released "Plenty Of Time" in 1998 and a live album (with Sonny Landreth ) in 2003. Shizzoe is a guitar player, singer, songwriter, producer and part time actor. Rolling Stone magazine says: "Those who care about these things have been knowing for a long time that Hank Shizzoe is the best roots-rock songwriter and guitar player who's not hailing from the US. And he would still be one of the best even if he came from the Promised Land." Since 1994, Shizzoe has released more than a dozen albums and played more than a thousand concerts between Los Angeles, Budapest, Bergen and Barcelona. In 2011 Shizzoe joined Stephan Eicher's band; the album "L'Envolée" was released on October 22nd 2012. An extensive tour started in December 2012.
