About Hannya
般若/Hannya Hannya is a rapper and hip hop artist on the AVEX label who started his career in 1996 by performing at clubs and various hip-hop events. He joined Mousouzoku when the group was formed in 1998 and came second on the annual B-Boy Park freestyle competition in 2002. He then signed a major deal as a solo artist in 2003 and released his first album Ohayo Nihon in 2004. His current album is entitled Doctor Tokyo.He is also known to have ties to the Yakuza.
