About Grundeis
GRUNDEIS drown with multilayered guitars in a melancholic abyss driven by pulsating beats and haunting vocals. Without hesitation they merge elements from different genres to fragile but intense post-punk. They seem to either collapse from melancholy or be on the edge of a raging burst. They opened shows for Bleib Modern, Isolated Youth, Jaguwar and Ezra Furman (among others). In 2020 they finished recording their first set of songs. The first single BLEACH is a fulminant, impulsive noise/post-punk song about overcoming despair by seeking energy in it. The band members Laura, Nils and Tomas found each other in Hamburg in 2018.
