About Groovekojad

Groovekojad was formed in 1999 by Glenn 'glennSKii' Meyer, who had been the frontman of Blenders. He is a songwriter but also produces, samples, scratches, etc. glennSKii was supported by a group of alternative musicians: Czarek Morawski (IMTM) - piano, Artur Falecki (Paru, Kabel) - 5-string bass, Bartek Kinaszewski (DJ East) - DJ, sampler, synth, Jacek Olter (Milosc, Kury) - percussion, Jacek Stromski (Apteka) - percussion, & Irek Wojtczak - sax. The band started presenting their music live in Sphinx and other clubs in Sopot. The debut album "Smacznego!" was recorded in the beginning of year 2000: the first single - "Funkiusz Budi (Baby-Baby)" was first aired in June, and the LP itself was released in August.
