About Graphic

There are more than one artists using the name Graphic. 1. North Carolina indie band from the 1980s previously known as Treva Spontaine and The Graphic. In 1984 Don Dixon produced the 6-track album People In Glass for Treva Spontaine and The Graphic. People In Glass was reissued in 1985 in Denmark as Way of the World. They also released another album entitled "Baysongs" 2. 'Graphic' would have been the next project for then ex-16 Volt frontman Eric Powell. The first album would have featured tracks from what was planned to be the 16 Volt album FullBlackHabit. At first, unhappy with some of the tracks that would have made up that album, eric dismantled 16 Volt and vowed to rework the tracks under a new guise. This guise emerged as Graphic and the track 'The Things You Do' was released on the Positron Records compilation album 'komposi003'. Shortly after this Eric released a statement saying that he was wrong to hide away from 16 Volt, that there would be no Graphic and that the songs that would have made up the project were now going to be released as 16 Volt as the album FullBlackHabit
