GRoCERIES

About GRoCERIES

The Groceries started as "Gandhi in Vegas" with Matthew Brownlie on guitar and vocals, Erik Bogle on bass, Eric Tes on guitar, and Lisa Harrington-Squires on drums. Soon after the start, the line up was changed as Erik switched to guitar, Thomas Clemmons joined on drums, and Blake Powell on bass. It was after this change that they took the name "Groceries." The Band released their EP "Knuckleheads and Icons" in 1999. The band then went on tours for a few years. In 2004, after some recording attempts and the loss of Powell, Ryan Hull joined on bass, and the band changed their name to "Bring Back the Guns." They toured closely with "So Many Dynamos" and release a couple more EPs including "This is a fine romance." Find out more at http://www.bringbacktheguns.com. "Groceries" or "Bring Back the Guns" should not be confused with a band called "Groceries" that released a self titled album in 1983.
