About Furland

Furland is a Mexican experimental pop band from Mexico City that debuted in 2006 with EP "A Casa Voy" which included songs like Lámpara de Lava, Tour de France, and Robot. On December 2009 they released their first LP titled "Historia de la Luz" (History of Light) which was produced by brothers Renato, Ramiro and Emmanuel del Real (aka Meme from Café Tacvba) with mexican independent label Terrícolas Imbéciles. They describe their sound as "cosmic folk" for taking elements from both traditional folk music, and contemporary psychodelic rock with lyrics in spanish speaking mostly about the relationship between colours, light, space and love. www.myspace.com/furland www.facebook.com/furlandmx www.twitter.com/furland www.furland.com.mx
