Across The City in now available for download from www.emusic.com as well as from I-Tunes Label www.boomdevilrecords.com contact enquiries@boomdevilrecords.com Freedom or Not was set up in London in the late 90's by singer Salvo Rizzuto (see also-Salvo-Unconditional, Sunshaker, Loners), Freedom or Not represent a combination of a natural Mediterranean vibe and a strongly deep passion for american "black music". Its main reference points are in the tradition of soul and funk from Otis Redding to James Brown and it was with this in mind that Salvo started to look for the most suitable partners. Freedom or Not: passionate romanticism, a" black" voice and a sound which brings together both roots and feelings. Originally released in 1997 the Album and the single 'Feel it" did very well in main land Europe charting in various club charts during 1997/1998. Freedom or Not also toured extensively up to 2001-visiting most European countries including Russia. Boom Devil Records www.boomdevilrecords.com is proud to re-release ‘Across The City’ to a new generation of funk/soul fans. A new album is due to be released later in 2010.
