About Flyswatter
Flyswatter was a German Emo-Core band from Munich signed by Eat The Beat Music - Sony/Germany. Their influences range from Jimmy Eat World, Get Up Kids, Thrice to boysetsfire and Fugazi. They released three records, "Black and Blue", "Repeat in Pattern" and their self-titled "Flyswatter". The band had a personal friendship with boysetsfire and supported them on several European tours. In 2006 Flyswatter broke up but several members joined other side projects such as The Blackout Argument. Florian Gudzent und Florian Kämmerling formed a new band called The New Recruits with Nathan Gray and Robert Ehrenbrand of Boysetsfire in 2011.
