About Fibel
Fibel is a German post-wave band. Fibel was founded in 2017 by Jonas Pentzek as vocalist and keyboardist, Lukas Brehm as vocalist and bassist, Noah Fürbringer as drummer, and Dennis Borger as guitarist. The founding members had studied together at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. Their first release, the song "Kripo!" was released in the same year as a live recording. In 2018, the group released their debut EP "Kommissar" on Downbeat Records. The title track was included in the national year-end best-of list by the online music magazine Diffus. In addition, Fibel was nominated for the New Music Award. In 2021 "Winter", the first single from their second EP "Avatar" was released, followed by the EP later that same year. After the release of the single "Unique", an indefinite hiatus was announced in 2022.
