About FFR
Based out of New York, FFR is an original band that combines ferocious hard-rock riffing and hauntingly catchy melodies with a dash of metal screaming and breakdowns. The band consists of Mike Wahmann on vocals and rhythm guitar, AJ Vekas on drums and vocals, Danny Leto on lead guitar, and Mike D’Angelo on bass and vocals. FFR’s exciting and energetic live shows have received rave reviews in Good Times and Aural Fix Magazines. With their three prominent vocal talents, the band has proven to be very versatile and has the ability to perform the layered vocals heard on their recordings outside of the studio as well. The buzz for their debut album, ‘The Mutants at Table 9,’ has earned them the title of Aural Fix Magazine’s October 2009 Band of the Month as well as opening slots with bands like Trust Company, Marcy Playground, Cold, Taproot & Andrew W.K. Upon the release of their album in May 2010, an extensive show/tour schedule is to follow in the Eastern US.
