About Assault FYC
Assault was established in 1997. The mission was to create brutal thrash metal hard core music and the mission hasn't changed in 14 years although parts of the line up have. In 2004 FYC was added to the bands name to differentiate from the thousands of bands on line who also chose the Assault name. FYC is the name of the unofficial "crew" Assault rolls with and the name of the independent label Assault is on, FYC Records. In 2006 the current line up was solidified. Founding members Gene Gorman and George Cobb recruited the young Justin Prouty on guitar. Chris Rush joined the band on bass in 2002 along with Jake Ekizian on drums. In 2008 Assault FYC released Hate Fueled Sin. A new album, as yet untitled will most likely be recorded in 2011...
