Daníel Ágúst (GusGUs) and Krummi Björgvins (Mínus) are Esja, a duo formed around a mutual interest in music and musical creativity. To confirm and strengthen this union Esja aim to take a journey in 2007 through several states starting in Orlando Florida and ending where the roots of North American country music lie, Nashville Tennessee. The stimulating atmosphere of what are essentially alien locations to the travellers and the characters they will meet along the way will inspire and enthuse the musical creativity that will be funnelled into their recording upon reaching their final destination in Nashville. The songsmiths will reflect their encounters on this trip with what will no doubt be unforeseen and interesting results as well as nurturing their own distinctive style in words and music.
