About Empty Frame
Empty Frame is an Alternative Rock band based in Athens, Greece. They started playing together in 2005 and their original mix of classical instrumentation (piano, cello, violin) with alternative rock songwriting has garnered them a prestigious place on the local scene. Their songs (even in demo format) were frequently played on radio and they did a great many live performances in several festivals and music venues in Greece. They were the opening act for international artists such as Sieben and Woven Hand. In April 2011 their first album entitled "THEY THINK WE'RE ESKIMOS" was released The band's influences include such diverse artist as The Beatles, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Tom Waits, Queens Of The Stone Age, Pink Floyd, Andrew Bird, Neil Young, Radiohead and many others
