Shimamiya Eiko is a J-Pop singer produced by I've Sound. * Name: Shimamiya Eiko (島みやえい子 or 島宮えい子) * Birthplace: Sapporo, Hokkaido * Birth Date: April 20 * Bloodtype: A * Height: 153.5cm (5ft) Eiko joined I've Sound in 1999, and has performed on various I've Sound compilation albums. She has also performed as a member of various I've Sound groups, including Healing Leaf. She has also gone by the stage names EIKO and PEKO. Eiko composes almost all of her own music, and writes all her own lyrics. She runs a music school called Shimamiya Size (S-size). She made her major label debut with the album ULYSSES, and released her first full-length album (O) October 4, 2006. She is perhaps best known to people outside Japan for her theme songs for the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni animated series.
