About Edoardo Bellotti
Edoardo Maria Bellotti (born September 17, 1957 in Pavia) is an Italian organist and harpsichordist. He studied organ and harpsichord at the University of Pavia, then human sciences and theology. He specialized in the literature for keyboard instruments from the Renaissance and Baroque, Italian organ literature, continuo practice and improvisation. He first taught organ and improvisation at the Trossingen University of Music, from 2008 at the Bremen University of the Arts and has been a professor at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester since September 2012. He regularly publishes articles and critical editions of harpsichord and organ compositions from the 17th and 18th century from Renaissance to Baroque.
