About Dr. Atmo & Ramin
Under the moniker of "Sad World", Dr. Atmo and Ramin released three ethno-ambient albums from 1993 to 1995, which have remained enduring highlights of Pete Namlook's FAX label and have since become highly collectible. The project was revisited by Dr. Atmo on 2021's Peace EP, with Ramin unable to contribute due to health issues; he passed away later that year. All four Sad World releases, alongside complementary remixes by FAX alumni and admirers, have since been compiled on a five-disc boxset by Fantasy Enhancing, thus making the Sad World project available once more to a new generation of listeners.
