discomighty is the solo electronic project of los angeles based producer drew brown. the effort was launched in 2001 to take deep house even deeper, to make sweet downtempo even sweeter. the resulting tracks are lush and inviting. discomighty brings to house what fatboy slim brought to breakbeat; a new dimension. each track is carefully crafted out of the same discomighty sound. house, electro, even pure pop, all combined into unlikely concoctions of layered drums and eclectic vocal hooks. discomighty is a sound, not a genre. like successful acts before - groove armada, basement jaxx, daft punk - discomighty crosses over with style. no matter what the tempo, you'll recognize the sound.
