About Dino DZ
Dino DZ is an electronic musician spawning from a quiet woodsy suburbia, in Maribor (Slovenia). He's been making music since he was 13 years old. Although dealing predominantly with electronic music, he is influenced by all sorts of genres. Some of his biggest music influences are: Trentemoller, Stimming, Bernard Herrmann, Flying Lotus, The Wipers, Thomas Newman, Burial, Miles Davis etc... Having grown up in a country, dominated by oberkrain folk music through and through, at age 5 he outgrew it and started to rebel against the boring establishment. His biggest inspirations for music making are: being a total music geek, a passion for creating moods and atmospheres, depression, boredom, staring out the window, search for happiness, pink unicorns and definitely not mainstream commercial music. His main goal is to make something new and very different, a style variation that hasn't been done yet. Of course, it's very hard to reinvent the wheel, but by combining various influences and genres, plus adding your creativity and true emotions into the mix, surely is the way to go, in order to make something unique. He is also a firm believer in sonic fidelity and dynamics, something that's lacking from today's music. His dream is succeding in having a long career, making good, honest music.
