About Dinner At The Thompsons
Originally from New York, Lucille crossed paths with Fablive from Le Havre, France. Soon after, they recorded their first opus entitled, "Lifetime On Planet Earth". The album, produced by Fablive, is an eclectic concotion of jazz, soul and funk, embued with influences of electronic, break-beat, and acoustic sounds, that leaves to the musically adept much to reflect on. Intentionally unpolished and sometimes imperfect recordings, give a live feeling to certain tracks - a rarity in today's overproduced sounding albums. It's apparent minimalist compositions and subtle harmonic changes bring rap, soul, and electro into real time - fresh, delicate, and rough all at once!
