Scroll down for english version! DevilsKiss entstand im Jahre 2000 von Sänger Ron [ehem. Keyboarder in der Synth-Popband AREA|51] ursprünglich als Soloprojekt. AREA|51-Kollege Sea unterstützte ihn dabei an der Gitarre. 2003 wurde der Titel „Der Teufel“ von Louis Manke im Fearsection Studio Berlin produziert, mit dem DevilsKiss als Sieger aus dem Sonic Seducer Bandwettbewerb „Battle of the Bands“ hervorging. Im selben Jahr kamen Drummer Fre und im Sommer 2004 Bassist Dig [ehem. Bassist der Deathmetal-Band Necropsy] dazu – damit entwickelte sich das Projekt endgültig zu einer Band. Im Herbst ging es erneut ins Fearsection Studio, um 4 Tracks für die EP „Flammenmahl“ aufzunehmen. Bei ihren ersten beiden Live-Auftritten spielten DevilsKiss im Frühjahr 2005 bereits als Vorband von Unheilig und Tanzwut vor begeistertem Publikum. Nach dem Ausstieg von Sea, Anfang 2006, suchte DevilsKiss schnellstmöglich Ersatz und fand in Jordi einen vielseitigen Gitarristen, der sich schnell in die Band integrierte und der musikalischen Entwicklung der Band neue Impulse gab. Nachdem Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig Pfingsten 2006 verließen Fre und Dig die Band, um ihren eigenen musikalischen Ideen nachzugehen. Für sie kamen Drummer Micha und Bassist Ben [auch bei der Berliner Metal-Band Morbid Mind aktiv], so dass DevilsKiss jetzt im neuen Line-Up und mit neuer Energie den Songs, für das Debütalbum, den letzten Schliff geben. Ein Studiotermin ist für das erste Jahresviertel 2007 geplant. DevilsKiss was originally founded in 2000 by the singer Ron [former keyboarder of the Synth-Pop-Band AREA|51] as a solo project. Sea, Rons colleague from AREA|51 helped out on the guitar. In 2003 the song "Der Teufel" (the devil) was produced by Louis Manke at the Fearsection studio in Berlin and made DevilsKiss winner of the Sonic Seducer bandcontest "Battle of the Bands". In the same year, drummer Fre and in summer 2004 bass player Dig [former member of the deathmetal band Necropsy] joined DevilsKiss - and the project finally developed into a full band. In autumn of the same year, DevilsKiss went to the Fearsection studio once again to record 4 tracks for the EP "Flammenmahl". The first live gigs were played with Unheilig and Tanzwut and the audience was fascinated. After Sea left early in 2006, DevilsKiss found a suitable replacement in Jordi, a very flexible guitar player, who soon integrated into the bands structure and gave the musical development of DevilsKiss new impulses. After playing at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, Germany in summer 2006, Fre and Dig left the band to follow their own musical intentions. They were replaced by drummer Micha and bass player Ben [who is also playing in the Berlin based metal band MORBiD MiND]. So now DevilsKiss is finalizing the work on the songs for their debut-album with new energy in this new line-up. The album will be recorded early 2007.
