There are (at least) two band named DEFUSED. (1) is Alternative/Metal band from Czech Rep. They released their first EP (Jan/2015) with tracks: Ghost Vibrations, Taken and Nothing Left. (2) (NOTE: This biography is for the progressive instrumental band from Mt. Vernon, Illinois USA. Two other Defused's exist including the club/techno Defused from Bizovac and the alternative rock Defused from Albany, New York USA) Defused was a progressive rock band from Southern Illinois. The band was founded in 2006 by Michael Hicks who, by himself, wrote and recorded the first three Defused albums until he was later joined by Brock Baltzell, Connor Burge and Derek Burwell for their fourth effort The Point of Beginning in 2009. Defused released a final album called An End to Corruption in 2010 before announcing their break up later that year.
