About Definitive Gaze

Post-Punk/New Wave/Alternative Rock band from Mestre (Venice, Italy). Formation: Alex: stories D-Andy: strato-things Rockjito: jazz-master The Gaze: bass bomber Virgin: clock-beat Lucien: organizer The same members of the band have used the term of ‘pyscho-pop’ to describe their style. They were able to mix psychedelic effects with a mature post-punk. Clear the influence of the 60’s beat rock and of the contemporary neo-psychedelic movement, very strong at end of the 80’s. The final sound is a sort of interesting dark-psychedelia. At the end of their short career, in 1990, they will be choosen to play a song (‘Warsaw’) in the italian cult tribute compilation ‘Something about Joy Division’, sort of collection that closes the first italian post-punk age.
