About Defekt Muzgó

Defekt Muzgó is a polish punk rock band, playing a rather simple kind of music with not too complicated lyrics. It was formed in 1980 in Wałbrzych under the name Bunt. It was changed to the current one two years later, after suicide of Fredek "Fred" Wójcik (bass) who was one of band's founder. The new band consisted of Wojciech "Walec" Walczyk (vocal), Tomasz "Sivy" Wojnar (guitar), Dariusz "Picek" Pacek (bass) and Krzysztof "Heban" Migdał (drums). Walczyk left the band after their first lives and Wojnar became the new vocalist. In 1988, when band went on a break, it still wasn't well recognizable. They reactivated in 1990. They've earned some popularity due to their performances at Jarocin Festival. In 1991, after all these years, Defekt Muzgó releases its first tape "Wszyscy jedziemy... ", recorded during their live in Wrocław. After few more releases, around year 95 the drummer was replaced by Rysiek "Ricardo" Gus. It changed band's sound a lot. Another activity break came in 1997 and lasted until January 2001. Band's line up was: Sivy, Heban & Bogdan "Victor" Kocik on bass.
