Lim Jaebeom (Hangul: 임재범) born January 6th, 1994 in Goyang, South Korea, commonly known by his previous stage name JB (Hangul: 제이비) and now his solo artistic/stage name Jay B, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, producer (under the name Defsoul), dancer, MC and actor who is the leader of South Korean boy band GOT7 (Hangul: 갓세븐) , part of the duo JJ Project and the GOT7 sub-unit Jus2. He is also part of the group ØFFSHORE under the name Def. Currently he is under H1GHR MUSIC (Hangul: 하이어뮤직레코즈) an international hip hop and R&B record label.
