About DEBONAIR

The cinematic sounding music by this Swiss duo features a transparent und well-tempered mix of acoustic and electronic elements. In March 2006, "somewhere, midair" by debonair was officially released in Switzerland (vacuum records / recrec). This release will hopefully be available for download in a large number of countries soon. The music on the 14 tracks invites to quietly be discovered by listeners all over the world: melancholy song-sketches, epic atmospheric instrumentals and tracks experimenting with motives, united as a whole by trademark debonair harmonies. Among lovers of innovative music, debonair has long been a insider's tip in Switzerland. Since the acclaimed independent release of their debut "the pollenflight e.p." in 2001, this project has consciously been keeping creative control, being able to rely on a large network of musicians. A vital instrument for this has been www.debonair.ch , which is used mainly as download-platform for free mp3s (see also www.myspace.com/debonairch). The webpage shows a broad musical spectrum of unreleased songs, live-performances, remixes, as well as extracts from compositions for two short-documentary movies that were exclusively realised in 2005.
