About Darren Worth
From an Interview with Darren Worth on how he would describe his music he said, "It's almost all instrumental with a few vocal tracks. It's a mix of Hip-Hop, Pop, Jazz and Pounding Beats with Piano, Guitar, Strings and some Gothic Choir thrown in for good measure. Plus, who doesn't like a bittersweet love song?" Darren Lee Worth was born in the winter of 1969 in Washington, D.C. and raised in the "Tabacco Roads" backwoods of Southern Maryland. His love of music and most especially, the piano, came at an early age, though he did not actually play the piano until age 9. A self-taught musician, he has written and recorded several independent albums, the first of which was "A Winter's Dream" and the follow up "Variations". In 2006 he released his newest LP, "Evocative". Now 38, he's working on his first proper album. (title yet to be released) DLW RECORDINGS-copyright (2007)
