About The Brothers of Wickedness
The Brothers Of Wickedness are a mid eighties avant punk group. The "Brudas'" are as unknown as they are prolific. One song will be an obvious rip-off while the next song will predate a much more popular hit by years. Having had an eclectic mix of troubadours leading various incarnations of the group they have failed to ever clearly align themselves with any genre or movement. The bands golden age clearly came in the years 1988 - 1989, releasing nearly 20 songs to mixed commercial success. Perhaps the most inspired of the songs was the reggae themed "Zimbabwe Dream" which is a mash up of Lewis Carrol and acidic Zoology. Currently on hiatus, the band members occasionally reunite for charity concerts and one off singles. No solo work is planned by any of the members.
