About Lady

1.) Lady (레이디))was a South Korean pop group, noted as the first transgender group from that country. The band consisted of Sinae(Leader and Main Rapper,) Sahara (Main Vocalist,) Binu (Main Rapper and Maknae) and Yoona (Lead Vocalist). There was much attention given to them by the press, given their unique status regarding their gender identity as well as being the first and only transgender k-pop group in a conservative country. However, they were able to perform on Korean music shows only a handful of times, while their music and videos were not well received. In order to drum up more publicity, they released an idol photobook featuring nude shots all the Lady members; this also failed to catapult them into stardom, however. They officially disbanded in early 2007. 2.) Lady is a retro-R&B band with soul superstar Nicole Wray. Their self-titled debut album was released on Truth & Soul records on March 5, 2013. The album is produced by soul veterans Leon Michels and Jeff Silverman who have also recorded with Aloe Blacc and Lee Fields. Terri Walker sings on the album and is featured in early interviews, but has left the band in July 2013 to focus on solo work. 3.) LADY, born Shameka Brown, is an American female rapper known for the hit singles "Yankin", "Twerk" and "Pussy". 4.) Lady is a Japanese singer.
