About Damage Control
1) Damage Control was a Norwegian straight edge hardcore band. They broke up in 2006. Members went on to form bands such as Common Cause, Death is not Glamorous & Another Year. Damage Control released a 7”/CDEP on Crucial Response Records from Germany, an LP/CD on Livewire Records from the USA (released in Europe by Dead & Gone Rec’s from the UK), and a final posthumous 7" in 2008. They also participated on a couple of Compilations. Damage Control toured Europe a bunch of times, along with two tours in the USA. 2) Damage Control is a modern quartet presenting a refined combination of jazz music with fusion. The band consists of four extraordinarily creative artists: Adam Bałdych– electric violin Paweł Tomaszewski – keyboards Piotr Żaczek – bass Cezary Konrad – drums The music of Damage Control is a extremely expressive combination of modern musical flows. It leaves a great deal of emotion with the listeners. The virtuosity, which is the trademark of the artists forming the band, make the concerts a unique sight full of energy, youthful zing, but also a mature sound, that recieves popularity and respect both from the audience, as from the critics. 3) Damage Control may also be a British group, consisting of Pete Way (UFO), Chris Slade (AC-DC, URIAH HEEP, ASIA), Robin George and Spike (The Quireboys) as a frontman. They released a demo on the 8th of march on Bancamp and Youtube, and, (as of writing) are set to play upcoming gigs at York venues like the fulford arms
