Post-Hardcore/Rock Drop The Pilot is a 5-piece outfit based in Salo, Finland: Jesse Kitti - Vocals Mikko Silvennoinen - Guitar Matias Siimes - Guitar Oskari Ali-Melkkilä - Bass/Screams Juuso Raeniemi - Drums Over the years, Drop The Pilot have made a couple of lineup changes but they have experienced them as huge improvement for their music. Their former mix of metalcore and post-hardcore has now developed into a fresh sounding combination of elegant and catchy modern rock seasoned with some post-hardcore elements and this has resulted as remarkable growth for the band within the last year. The band has an energetic and international sound including breathtaking guitar solos, electronic elements and singer Jesse Kitti’s powerful clean voice completes their sound perfectly. These combined with a kick-ass live performance makes Drop The Pilot a must-see band. Drop The Pilot has released three EPs, “A Lifeless Burden” (2011), “Bedtime Story” (2012) and the latest, “Shut the Sound of the World!” which was released in November 2013 has received great feedback and reviews from both listeners and the media.
