About Dj Pool
Dj POOL nationality is danish. And he first started megamixing on the PC in 1997 using a old AMD-K6 450 Mhz PC. With limited harddisk space, a small mixer & two Technics turntables. The first megamix he created was POOL-MIX 1980s Vol.1. A full 74 min megamix cd containing over 100 tracks. With the music his friends and himself enjoyed, when they travelled together and relaxed "by the pool" He was convinced by Dj Cosmo & rest of the megamixers.com staff to do a complete a 1990 serie. The biggest challenge yet, and after years of hard work & CD release after CD release the project was complete. 7 cds or the first megamix released on DVD as MP3 containing over 800 songs. No other megamixer have beaten that. Yet. ;-) A note: Every song on every Pool Mix is taken from original VINYL or CD. No MP3 or other type of compressed files has been used.
