D1rty Kickz - DJ & producer (Justin and Michelle Peterson) Justin Peterson born in Chandler, Arizona - though started up in Germany back in 2004 where he first started up DJing on vinyl records in a military barracks. Quick to boot, he started playing at small house parties and clubs like Subway Bar, Discothek Mad, and towards the end a few gigs at U60311. Justin started in trance and vinyl back in Germany, progressed to his Tech House/ Electro / Progressive style but also has a spinning passion for many other styles including very underground and dirty Deep House, as well-as other unique styles of dark tech house. Back in Upstate New York in 2007 he found the Kingston, Ontario, Canada scene, playing at Stages Nightclub, Mansion, Tango, and the XO Lounge. An unofficial residence at the Monkey Bar for his unique Tech - Electro style that was the best of the two popular genres on the local scene. In 2011, he entered the 'Who's Spinning on Deck 10' Dj contest for the Groove Cruise (World's Largest Party Cruise) – out of over 600 entries, finished 2nd only to now Beatport- accredited DJ/ Techno Producer Doc Brown. Also in 2011, won a radio mix contest for Strictly Rhythm Radio show over Mixcloud , the 1st round winners of another DJ contest for the legendary Sankey's club and in the top 10 of Ultra Music Festival/Aestival7 Mix contest of 1300 entries. Michelle, Born in Calgary, Alberta Canada and has lived all across Canada. At the young age of 7, Michelle started out in ballet, and music started to influence her life. Michelle started her music production journey under the wing of her fiancé Justin Peterson in the spring of 2012. Michelle’s influences ranges on electronic music from classical to rock music. Constantly studying the in's and out's of music and how it is constructed and how it is supposed to sound. Which helped to evolve the darker and more progressive sounds of D1rty Kickz. D1rty Kickz (consisting of Justin and Michelle), released three major EPs; A-Yeah, Predator, and Miami Vice, which showed the D1rty Kickz’ ability on the productions side of things. Miami Vice has been featured in Beatport’s “10 Must Hear Indie Dance” for week 20. Has since released an original track “Sex Driv3”, under DJ Wady’s label 911 Records in Colombia. D1rty Kickz has already set up three upcoming major releases, that is targeted at specifically for major labels. On the decks, D1rty Kickz has been introducing Toronto electronic scene to their unique Deep/Progressive sounds. Have been featured for all three editions of the monthly underground event Cave Rave, and another upcoming event at Li’ly.
