About D-Flame & Eizi Eiz
D-Flame (born 19 September 1971 as Daniel Kretschmer) is a German rapper and reggae musician from Frankfurt am Main. D-Flame began his career in the late 1980s within the Frankfurt hip-hop scene. He was a member of the group Asiatic Warriors, alongside Azazin (who later performed as Azad), A-Bomb, and Combad, who also contributed to his solo albums. The group released an album in 1994 but disbanded shortly thereafter. He was also part of the group Foreign Accent, with whom he appeared in the music video for "Fremd im eigenen Land" by Advanced Chemistry. After these early collaborations, D-Flame worked with the dancehall sound systems SoundquakeSound and Pow Pow Movement before starting his solo career around 2000. He has released five albums. His debut album "Basstard" (2000) combines hip-hop and dancehall styles. His second album, "Daniel X – eine schwarze deutsche Geschichte" (2002), leaned more toward hip-hop and was described by D-Flame as a “biography in album form.” His third album, "Unaufhaltsam" (2003), focused entirely on reggae and dancehall and included a reggae cover of the Extrabreit song "Polizisten." In 2006, he released "F.F.M.," which further emphasized reggae influences over hip-hop. His fifth album, "Stress," was released on 14 November 2008. D-Flame has collaborated with numerous artists, including Seeed, Samy Deluxe, Jan Delay, Bonez MC, Denyo 77, Xavier Naidoo, Afrob, Tone, RAF Camora, and J-Luv. He is also a member of the collective Brothers Keepers and was affiliated with the former Hamburg hip-hop label Eimsbush Entertainment. Until autumn 2010, D-Flame hosted a weekly show on the Frankfurt youth radio station You FM, covering rap, dancehall, and reggae. On 24 January 2007, he appeared on the television program TV total, where he performed the song "Mom Song" and represented the state of Hesse at the Bundesvision Song Contest on 9 February 2007. Throughout his career, he has supported other hip-hop artists on live performances and tours, including the Hamburg group Dynamite Deluxe during their "TNT" tour in early 2008. In 2016, D-Flame appeared as a guest on the collaborative album "Palmen aus Plastik" by Bonez MC and RAF Camora, which received platinum certification in Germany and Austria.
