We are Counterhold. Formed in 2009 but with things really kicking in during 2011, the band has an unheard of approach to music best described as Powerhouse Melodic Metal. Our own hard work so far has seen us earn slots supporting bands such as Sepultura, Darkest Hour, Blaze Bailey, Diamond Head, Revoker, Beholder, Evil Scarecrow, Iron Knights, Malefice, Dave McPherson, Glamour of the Kill, Marseille, Forever Never and Seven Deadly. http://www.counterhold.com http://www.twitter.com/Counterhold http://www.youtube.com/counterhold http://www.facebook.com/counterhold "Very enjoyable dude! Benji Webbe - Skindred Formed in 2008 from the ashes of Fatal Taunt, by the start of 2011 the jigsaw was complete and the Lineup is: Steven Jenkins, Vocals David Birbeck, Guitar Karl Silverthorn, Guitar Ben Saunders, Bass Ryan Salter, Drums In 2011 their own work saw them earn slots opening for Brazilian legends Sepultura, win the Welsh International BOTB's, get to the final of Hard Rock Hells' Highway To Hell 2 in Glasgow, and finished up in December playing main support to Darkest Hour. Counterhold made 2012 even more successful. Reaching the final of TBFM Factor (and earning a respectable 12th out of 288 bands) Gigs with Blaze Bailey, Mortad, Seven Deadly, Diamond Head, Evil Scarecrow, Iron Knights and Dave McPherson and headline shows booked all over the UK. Holding off heavy gigging to head in to the studio has not slowed them up as further gigs with Triaxis, Evil Scarecrow, Beholder and Tainted Nation have proved. The band released their debut album to great reviews on October 11th. Waging War On Silence is the mantra with an Egos Down, Horns Up approach to shows that has seen them earn fans from all over the world!
