About Cosmic Boogie

Cosmic Boogie is the pseudonym of Liverpool based Dj and producer Stu Robinson, and the name of one of the record labels he currently runs (the other being Boogie Originals with Andy Ash). He has released and remixed fot Disco Deviance, Bedmo Disco, Whiskey Disco, Deep Space Orchestra, Frank Booker and Tal M Klein (amongst others). A string of further releases are lined up for 2011. On the back of the success of his productions, record labels and remixes, Cosmic Boogie has become an in-demand DJ, with regular dates across Europe. Over the past 12 months he has played headline slots everywhere from Helsinki and Warsaw to London and Budapest – and his hometown of Liverpool. His DJ style reflects his productions, combining slo-mo boogie, groove-laden disco, deep house, deep funk and soul. Adept at reading the situation thanks to a decade-plus experience behind the decks, he prides himself on getting a crowd moving – whether they’re into 100 BPM groovers or hands-in-the-air anthems.
