Once again we hit with the soviet groovers! Via Contemporanul was a popular moldavian band, formed in 1974 from the ex members of another Moldova’s group “VIA Norok”. Contemporanul 1977 was their first LP. And all groovy lovers would be pleased with at list 4 songs from this vinyl. “Baietii veseli” – vocal soul funk with killer drum breaks. “Moldovenii cand se strang” – psychedelic heavy jazz-funk! “Marioara” – cool gipsy beat. “In gradina lui Ion aka Ioanne Ioanne” – gem folk song with strong organ funk arrangements!
