About Color Humano
There are more than two bands with this name: 1. The argentinian 70's rock band Color Humano was a trio founded at the end of 1971 by Edelmiro Molinari, after the dissolution of Almendra. The name of the band was taken from a theme that Molinari composed for it. The band's first formation was Edelmiro Molinari (guitar and vocals), Rinaldo Rafanelli (bass and backing vocals) and David Lebón (drums and backing vocals). The first recital took place in April 1972, at the Atlantic Theater in Buenos Aires. In November they participated in the BA Rock III Festival (already with Moro) which gave rise to the film Rock until the sun sets, where the band opens the film by playing "Larga vida al sol" and then "Cosas rústicas". In December of that year they recorded their first album at the Phonalex studios, in which Rodolfo García (ex Almendra) and the singer Gabriela (Parodi), who later became Edelmiro's wife, participated. At the end of 1972, David Lebón left the group to join Pescado Rabioso, and Oscar Moro replaced him. Between March and June 1973 they recorded the second album at Phonalex, which would be double, but the Microfón label released it as two independent albums (Color Humano II and Color Humano III). The last of these albums was delayed until 1974 because it was difficult to get vinyl due to the oil crisis. The band did not perform live very often, however at the end of 1973 it performed two continuous performances at the Astral theater in Buenos Aires, with a great audience. A year later the band dissolves due to internal conflicts. Edelmiro emigrated to Los Angeles. In 1995, the last members of Color Humano (Molinari, Rafanelli and Moro) were tempted to reunite and perform a live performance at The Roxy. The show was recorded and edited at the end of that year. At a concert by Edelmiro Molinari, Color Humano's return was announced for 2009, along with Rinaldo and drummer Sebastian Peyceré, with the idea of doing shows and recording an album.
