Colin Bernard ought to be tone deaf. And if you talk to him on his left side, he WILL ignore you; Not cuz you’re boring (or maybe you are) but rather cuz he can’t hear you. Colin is deaf in one ear; but he was born to be a musician and naturally gifted with a voice that rivals Bono‘s. Despite his challenge and disadvantage, Colin has worked tirelessly for most of his 43 years to share the purpose and power of his voice with the world. Originally from Bathurst, NB, Colin made his way to Ottawa with his MUCH younger wife and two children in 2001. He has shared his incredible talent with many in various churches and at several events and has partnered with equally talented individuals to experiment and breathe new life into gospel music. His new EP “Hold On” is a testament to his commitment to quality and to his values. It has captured the hearts of a vast Canadian audience and continues to draw people in. Yet when complimented on his extraordinary talent, Colin nods and smiles… but defers all the accolades to the One he believes blessed him with such a gift…and then he takes another sip of his Quad-Grande Americano.
